Pune Municipal Corporation provided financial assistance for Competitive Exam Study Centers MPSC / UPSE EXAM to students in backward-class communities who have completed graduation/post-graduation, under Backward Welfare Scheme.

Eligibility

  • Age limit up to 38 years for MPSC and 35 years for UPSC (33 years for Other Backward Classes)
  • Annual income of the family from all means should be within Rs.1,00,000/-.
  • If the number of children in the family exceeds two due to surviving children born after 01/05/2001, the benefit of the scheme will not be availed.
  • Right to change the terms and conditions/reject application Hon. It will remain with Municipal Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation.
  • The information in the above clause *( 8 ) is to be filled only by the slum dwellers.


Benefits

Deposit at the time of admission Rs. 1000/- should be deposited with Pune Municipal Corporation by challan and after completion of training the said amount will be paid by cheque.

Documents

The applicants are required to attach the following documents -

  • Proof of at least three years residence in Pune Municipal Corporation (attested copy of rationing card)
  • (One of Birth Certificate / Sassoon Hospital Age Certificate / School Certificate required for age proof).
  • Educational Qualification - Graduation / Post Graduation required (Certificate and mark sheet must be attached)
  • Applicants living in slums should attach the income certificate of the neighboring group while applicants residing outside the slums should attach the income certificate of the previous year. Certificate from Tehsildar, Collector's Office should be attached.
  • Caste Certificate - Since the said scheme is under backward class welfare scheme, it will be necessary to attach the caste certificate along with the application as per the caste of the applicant. - Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes, Freed Castes, Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Classes.
  • All the documents attached to the application must be attested.
  • Scanned documents must be attached.
