Pune Municipal Corporation provided financial assistance to the children of unorganized laborers working on Garbage Picker/Biogas in backward-class communities under the Backward Welfare Scheme.

Eligibility

  • Applicant should be an unorganized laborer working on Garbage Picker/Biogas Plant/Waste related work in Pune Municipal Corporation limits and should actually be working/waste related work on Garbage Picker/Biogas Plant.
  • In case of more than two children only two children of the family will be given the benefit.
  • It will be necessary to attach a xerox copy of the previous year examination pass in the previous class. Failing students will not get the grant.
  • Right to change/reject application in terms and conditions Hon. Deputy Commissioner, Social Development Department, Pune Municipal Corporation will remain with.

Benefits

A maximum of Rs. 5,000/- financial assistance will be provided. The benefit will be given to only two children of an applicant.

Documents

The applicants are required to attach the following documents -

  • A xerox copy of the applicant's Aadhaar card should be submitted.
  • A xerox copy of the bank account passbook to which the Aadhaar card is attached (link) should be submitted.
  • Proof that the family has resided in Pune Municipal Corporation for at least 3 years (attested copy of ration card required) as proof of residence for 3 years Municipal Tax Receipt or Light Bill or Telephone Bill (Landline) or Hut Photo Pass/Hut Service Charge Receipt/Rent Agreement for last 3 years as proof of residence etc. should be added
  • A copy of caste certificate is to be attached.
  • It will be necessary to fill all the fields as recommended by the Head of School.
  • It will be necessary to attach a xerox copy of the previous year examination pass in the previous class.
  • Scanning of original documents to the application.(Present with original documents for application verification.)
